Dave's ankle was broken for the last 6 days
What a tough guy! Dave broke his ankle early on the nasty stage from Atar to Atar (or was it earlier?). The Organization doctors x-ray’d it but didn’t find the breaks. He didn’t ask whether he should continue, he just kept going, waiting for that next crash that would take him out for good. That crash never came. (Andy Caldecott is a pansy!) Just kidding Andy!
